APS K-Rifles
The APS K-RIfles was a concept Came about in 2017 from a rifle I built for my daughter Kenzie for her first big game hunting rifle. We used a Ruger American centerfire short action receiver, fully blueprinted with a bartlein #3 contour Stainless 6mm barrel chambered in 243 Win. Installed one of my small Painkiller muzzle brakes and replaced the factory stock with a Boyds Laminate wood Classic Sporter stock in Nutmeg color. At the time, Kenzie was only 9 years old yet I was amazed how well she was able to shoot this rifle, even out to 800 yards.
Seeing how well this rebuilt Ruger American worked, I decided this would be a heck of an affordable precision rifle for those that did not have the budget for higher priced full custom rifles. Since the entire concept started from Kenzies first big game rifle, I called the line of semi-custom rifles K-Rifles. Obviously the K stands for Kenzie. Since that time, dozens of these great little rifles have shipped from the shop and all have been extremely good shooting little rifles. Very happy with the rifles.
The K-Rifle line is available in right or left hand, short or long action.

Bartlein and Benchmark barrels are used exclusively for these rifles. However, In an attempt to keep the finished rifle prices down, standard option is to use a non-fluted barrel. Barrels of #3 contour are standard option on sporter weight K-Rifles but larger Rem Varmint contour barrels are used for the Varmint or Target versions. 26" is standard length but any length up to 28" can be ordered on a K-Rifle.

Stocks used for the APS K-Rifles are made by Boyds Stocks. These are high quality, resonably priced laminated wood stocks that can be ordered in a variaty of models from Classic Sporter stocks to Varmint stocks to BR style models. They offer a very good selection of colors and LOPs to match more any shooter. They use embedded steel bedding V-blocks for use with the Ruger American Centerfire rifles resulting in a very solid bedding system. These produce outstanding consistency in these rifles.

The factory triggers on the Ruger American rifles are decent but not up to my standards for my rifles. However, they respond very well to a quality trigger job. This includes replacing the springs and stoning the sear engagement for a very quality trigger break. I set these triggers at a very clean breaking 2.0 pound pull weight. Dramatically cleaner feeling then the factory pull yet still totally safe and full functing safety which is a must.

While these rifles come in at a fraction of the price of my other lines of rifles, they are still held to the same 1/2 moa accuracy potential standard proven at a minimum of 500 yards. To date, every one I have built easily has met this standard right from the start. These rifles, just like my top teir rifles are all fully function tested and proven, load development done for one bullet of choice and accuracy tested and proven before shipping, ensuring when you get the rifle, it is ready to go to work for you as its been advertised.
K-Rifle Chambering Options
K-Rifles can be chambered for most standard (0.470" head diameter) chamberings offered. In both short and standard action lengths.
For example:
243 Win, 260 Rem, 7mm-08 Rem in short action
25-06 Rem, 270 Win, 30-06 Springfield in standard actions.
K-Rifles can also be chambered in most wildcats in these same cartridge families but some specific choices will not work with the Ruger American rotary magazine box so if your curious just ask and I can tell you if it will work or not. There are hundreds that will work in these rifles!!
