The Raptor Long Range Shooting System (LRSS) was designed specifically to have a bare rifle weight in the 12-14 lbs range yet have the strength, stiffness and rigidity to compete head-to-head with rifles in the 30 lb class.
To offer legit extreme range precision that Heavy BR class rifles offer yet do so in a very practical dimensioned rifle.
Engineered throughout to offer a no compromise world class rifle with few peers.
This goal was easily met and with ranging ability reaching 2500 and even 3000 yards depending on chambering, nothing compares to the Raptor LRSS for extreme strength, extreme rigidity, extreme performance and somewhat portable weight.

The heart and soul of the Raptor LRSS is the Raptor receiver. Over engineered to be the strongest, most rigid and stiffest receiver in its class. Capable of easily handling the largest, highest performance chamberings that can be shoehorned into this class receiver. Offered in Single shot and repeater versions, Right and Left hand.

We use custom contoured Bartlein Stainless steel barrels on all Raptor LRSS rifles. These barrels have a unique 1.350" diameter shank that is 8" in length. From this point the barrels contour down to roughly a Sendero type contour with a standard finish length of 30". Optional barrel lengths can be ordered from 26" to 34" in length. The Raptor LRSS barrels also use a unique dual flute pattern giving them their very distinct appearance as well as helping even more with rifle balance.

Raptor LRSS Triggers
The standard stock for the Raptor LRSS rifle is the McMillan A5 Adjustable stock. These stocks provide the fore end strength and stiffness to support the heavy Raptor barrels as well as being extremely well suited for long range precision shooting. Adjustable cheek piece are standard options as well as 1" thick decelerator recoil pads. Adjustable LOP systems area also available as well as a varliaty of finished and other stock options. All Raptor LRSS rifles use the great Trigger Tech Special triggers. These triggers offer amazingly consistent trigger pulls with a pull weight range from 1 to 4 lbs. 1 lb pull weight is standard setting for the Raptor LRSS rifles. IF customers want a lighter trigger pull, the Trigger Tech Diamond trigger is also an add on option

The Raptor LRSS can be chambered in pretty much any commercially available chambering with a minimum case head diameter of 0.470" up to anything including Lapua/Rigby and large Weatherby class chamberings.
